I write the award-winning Zen Mother column, offering an irreverent look at modern life through a highly inappropriate advice column. I’ve been described as a cross between Erma Bombeck and Dave Barry, and I’ve received many (nine!) humor awards.

In 2005, I was selected as Humor Writer of the Month by the prestigious Erma Bombeck Writer’s Workshop.

I also received the grand prize from That First Line, a national contest for best opening to a literary work.
