Answer one question: If you are trying to sell mud to people who live in mud, then a marketing communications program will not help you. We will work together to define the value of your company's offerings to all your various constituencies and help communicate that value through meaningful public relations and advertising.
Jennifer Karin is a marketing communications expert with over 20 years experience in a variety of industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, high technology and not-for-profit. Jennifer has developed many business-building programs for successful national and international brands. These programs include media and analyst programs, strategic editorial development, print and broadcast advertising, crisis communications, product introductions, news dissemination, and events for clients such as Apple Computer, Boston Popcorn, Guest Quarters Suite Hotels, Hewlett-Packard, Home Portfolio, Malden Mills Polarfleece, Zoesis Studios, and Motorola. Most recently, Jennifer created a mammogram campaign to support the recent installation of digital imaging suites at Anna Jaques Hospital. The campaign received community and industry acclaim for its breakthrough messaging and positive impact on mammogram appointments. Jennifer also served as Director of Communications for One Family, Inc., an organization created by Reebok founder Paul Fireman and his family to help bring an end to family homelessness. At One Family, Jennifer invented and designed the organization's first major fundraising event called Mothers of Inspiration. The event celebrates women who have risen above homelessness to achieve an education and provide a better home for their families. She also helped the organization understand and embrace the importance of branding, creating a defensible message platform, and developing a cohesive collateral system (website, direct mail, advertising, white papers). Jennifer was interim Vice President at Citigate Cunningham, one of the nation's leading public relations firms. At Cunningham, she supervised the Motorola paging team and helped roll out a consumer website for Rupert Murdoch's News International. Jennifer built her career at Mullen Advertising, where she quickly embraced the advantages of integrated marketing. At Mullen, she implemented leadership programs for Dun & Bradstreet Software that included an award-winning direct response campaign, general advertising, worldwide conferences and key editorial placements. She also supervised the Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group account in which she helped roll out the HP PalmVue system. The launch garnered national media attention, including 80 television news segments and feature placements in top business publications.
